St Remy Sidecar Cocktail

St Remy Sidecar Cocktail

The Sidecar is one of the great classic short drinks. Legend has it that in 1931, when it first emerged at Harry's Bar in Paris, it was so called in homage to an army captain who habitually arrived at the bar in a sidecar. In fact, the recipe was invented in a French palace (either at Cannes or Paris) and was even introduced in London in 1922, by McGarry, head barman at Buck's Club.
